OMG!!! Todae, or rather tonight, was AWESOME!!! Me n Dayana went to watch mi cuzzin's at Singapore Polytechnic Convention Centre :Waves 11 Concert (Emotion,Expression, Explosion). IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! First of all...i realli dont lyk how d emcees spoke tonight, especially d gal. Lyk got no tone at all...HELLO!!! It's suppose to b exciting!! Not a formal boring event. Come on...Ouh ya...wen we arrived dere, we saw people wearing d white masks...n it was scary wen one of dem pointed his or her hand (duno d gender, canot c d face) down d stairs for d entrance. Spooky sia. Den even at d ticketgal, dis person was lyk doing a robot dance which was tot to b spooky for mi. hahkz
The first programme was titled Dance...People Dance!!! It was juz a normal dance routine wif sum Funkin' Marvellous Jazz/Funk Medley. Nothin' special yet. D second programme was rather eye-catchin'. It's called B-boys, Time to Battle. Its a group of breakdancers dancing each having their own style. It was very fun watching dem standing on their hands, flipping, twisting, spinning...OMG i duno hw dey all do sia. The next programme was called One More Chance? Its bout six dancers. 3 guyz 3 galz. So each got partner la. It was quite fun watching partners dance...especialli wen d guyz had to carry d galz lyk here n there. Very nice dance...it shows elegance n strength. The 4th programme was even more fun...coz mi cuzzin is dancing dere. It was fun lor... its a story whereby two rival grps cud b frens wen dance 2gether. Bt quite funni actualli coz dey got 2gether aft a gal saved dis gal frm d oder grp aft she fainted during dancing. Ouh ya...its called Fusion. N OMG!!! i canot bliv dat mi cuzzin was veri different lor. I tot she was innocent lor. She can realli shake her booties n butts lor. Lyk an African-American dancer. OMG!!! i canot bliv it. it was shocking!!! U GO MI CUZZIN!!!Hahahkz.
The 5th programme was 08/12/06: The Day We Met. It was a touching scene whereby onli two dancers dance. Its bout romance. Dat guy realli noes how2 carry d woman n d woman realli noes hw 2 show emotions.hahakz sounds too emo. The next programme was bout Identity, performed by the Alumni. It was quite shocking dat dey're actualli dancing blindfolded. I duno whether dats true or nt la...havnt ask mi cuzzin yet. But if dey realli r blindfolded...it is shocking coz dey cud dance so well n even noe d positions lor. KEWL!!! The next programme was called Shaken...but not Stirred. Quite a risky dance coz dey're carryin' suitcases wif dem n was throwing dem at each other. Quite a marvellous performance.
The 8th programme was SUPER CREATIF LOR!!! D starting music was d pouring rain. Wen a person wearing d white mask was carryin' an open-umbrella on stage...all d oder white mask people, who were sitting on d stairs of d Convention Centre stood up n opened their umbrellas n was lyk spooking everione in d audience. One gal actualli screamed. Hahkz. Den dey danced wif their umbrellas to d front. It was SUPER DAMN NICE LOR!!! I lyk dis programme. Veri creative. N i juz knew dat mi cuzzin was one of dem...bt canot c her coz all were wearing masks. Hahkz. I lyk d concept. Ouh ya...its titled Faces-part one (Holding On to Our Land). Den came d interval.
The 9th item was called Emerging Vision. It's bout ballet dancers, both male n female, dancing on stage showing their flexibilty. Dey can all do d split sia. damn!!! i wish i cud do it. It was sho difficult lor. Next item was CHIC performed by Nanyang Polytechnic dancers. It was veri fun to see oder schs supporting oder schs. Its onli 3 dancers but dere realli noe timing. Dey're on time during d routine. Veri nice. 11th item was Truly, Madly, Deeply. It was bout 4 dancers, 2 galz 2 guyz, which is bout love. Dey were dancing wif 2 tables on d stage wif a chinese music. Hahkz.
The 12th item was Hip-hop dance team known as Strictly Dance Zone. it was a veri catchy dance performance was it includes sho much teamwork lor. Veri nice choreography. Ouh...n mi cuzzin was dere dancing in dis item.Next was Holding On. 5 female dancers dancing expressing their emotions of a broken heart. Hahkz. d music was Because of You by Kelly Clarkson. The 14th item was called Boys 2 Men...bt i prefer it to b called Boys 2 Gays. Sori no offence bt it was quite gay coz all r guyz n all carry each oder. At one part was lyk carrying here n there...a little gay to me. Bt it was fun lor...n funny. got humour inside. The second last item was nt dancing bt bout Beat-boxing. IT WAS SUPER DAMN BLOODY KEWL LOR!!! D guy realli can make music frm his mouth or throat or tongue or wateva he uses sia. Oso...he uses his bro to dance to his beat-boxing. WHICH IS ANODER KEWL POINT FOR DAT!!! So kewl to haf a bro lyk dat. His bro can dance lyk hell...nvr seen anyone dance lyk him. D amazing thing was wen he cud move his chest up during one of d beats. Super AMAZING!!! I guess he lifts weights coz i tink he's using his build chest muscles. Amazing lor. Both brothers working 2gether...an outstanding event. Finally...d last item was Faces-part two (Together). Its d mask people again. Hahkz. i realli lyk d choreography on dis. Its veri exciting to watch n white hands flying around. Hahkz.
So...aft dat we went to Bugis, tinking bout eating at Raffles Hospital Banquet. Too bad its closed. Hahkz. Dayana was lyk "Huh? It's not even 10 o'clock." Den i saw a sign n said, " It closes at 9:30pm" Hahkz. Sho funny. Den we had 2 eat at Long John's Silvers. Hahkz. N ate fish n chips. OK...dis post is too long. Dat means i shud go to sleep now.Hahkz. Gd nitez...or shud i sae morning. Lolz
