Expo Trip...

Went to the Expo this evening with my family. My Mum's intentions to go there was to shop at the Metro Expo Sale. Hehe. Upon reaching there (haha, I'm like writing a Compo), we first went to visit the Car Sales Hall. Lots of cars were being advertised there. NICE & COOL CARS!!! There was this Silent ad bout having silent cars, meaning when you drive, you won't hear a thing. It's sound-proof. Another cool car was this Toyota car having a Boot containing Speakers. Yup...The Boot contained Loud Huge Speakers that Amplified the Music very nicely...If you're going to the beach and wanna listen to songs, get a Boot like it and the whole beach will be dancing. It's from DLS Car Audio SuperNatural Sound. Another very nice and sexy car is the Mazda Carlingual...Auto Car with only four seats; the back seats only contains two as the box behind the Auto Gear is very long. It's almost like a Convertible, long Engine Space like Race Cars, lights that are carved nicely and let's just say it's COOL.

After the Car Exhibition, we went to the Metro Sale Hall. It was kinda boring compared to the John Little Sale held earlier this month. Nothing much to say bout it.

Multi-Band Exchange at Coral & Movie (I am Legend)

Coral Concert Band had a Multi-Band Exchange yesterday with five other School Bands. The schools are Chung Cheng, Hong Kah, Hua Yi, Mayflower & Westwood Secondary. Yup...I was surprised to hear that Coral was the host school. Hehe. Anyway, many of the seniors decided to visit and watch & listen to the programmes. I was actually the first senior or alumni to reach the school, thinking that the others had reached the school first. And being the first of them had led Mr Wong to choose me to help out with something. I had to write the school's names, the instruments & the songs they're gonna play on sheets of paper for the judges to give critics on their playing. I had to repeatedly write everything three times as there were three judges. And God, it was difficult 'cause first, we ran out of paper; second, the order of the ensembles/duet/trio/quartet/quintet were not in proper order; third, I was sweating & panicking writing the names & stuffs. But it was worth being watched by everyone in the Hall. They kept looking or staring at me as I was sitting in the middle of the Hall behind the Judges, and I was wearing like a Punk/Emo Kid, so I guess they're puzzled to see a Punk/Emo doing stuffs in the middle of the Hall.

Finally, after finished writing & arranging the stuffs, I enjoyed listening to the remaining Ensembles, mostly the Percussion. Coral was Fun. Hehe. But I couldn't really hear the Timpani and the Melody was quite softer. After the Ensembles, it was Lunch Time. The schools went to eat packed food at the canteen while the Alumni went to White Sands. We thought of eating there but instead, we didn't do anything like that. We talked bout Life and all, and some of us went Emo. Ouh, we bought flowers for Mr Wong. Jia Xuan, Syazwana & I bought KFC food and we ate under my block, in which one of them called it Zul's Void Deck.

We came back to school for the Main Band Performances from every Band. To me, the best performance was from Hua Yi & Mayflower Combined Band Performance. They played Postcard super fast...and they were together. The Canons were perfect even when it's fast. All the Clarinettees weren't faking their finguring. Very nice...and loud (due to having 80 something Band members). One of Westwood's Percussionists was incredibly expressive throughout the performance. He created a face crashing the Cymbals and playing the Drum Set. And we found out his name is Indra. Hehe

After the whole Exchange Programme, the Alumni had nothing better to do than to take photos at the School Carpark, behind the Canteen. Hehe. There were very nice photos. One two of them we had it with Mr Wong. We did so many poses and all of us really did have fun. Some people Shiok Sendiri. Haha

That evening, my family and I went to watch I am Legend at TM's Golden Village. It was a very nice movie. I give 4.0 out of 5.0. It's a very touching movie and I did almost cried at some scenes. I really pity Samantha. But the ending was like "Huh?" kind of feeling, but it did explain why the title is called I am Legend. It also shows how one would react knowing he's alone in the world. And there were funny scenes here & there.

Movie....Hanging Out

Dayana, Fathiah, Jia Xuan and I went to watch a movie at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard. Dayana brought her friend, with her friend's cousin to watch with us, hence, there were Six people watching. We all went to watch the movie The Golden Compass. Hah...FINALLY! 'Cause I've been talking about it for such a long time but still haven't watched it. The movie was awesome. Why do people say the movie wasn't that nice? One reason I could give is that the ending was sudden. Yes, it was sudden, but the story is a Trilogy from His Dark Materials Trilogy. So, as there are three books and the movie is only about the first, there will be a continuation to the story. It's just like Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Sigh...People need to find out first before saying that the movie was not good 'cause of the sudden ending.

Another reason I could give is that it defies the Christian Religion...And people have been convincing others not to watch the movie. (If you wanna find out more bout this stuff, you can ask me through e-mail or MSN and I'll explain the whole details to you.) I've heard that if the first movie is not a Hit in the Box Office, the producers won't produce the second and the third movie of the trilogy. So, please support it.

Anyway, the scariest part was when the Golden Monkey Daemon of Mrs Coulter suddenly appeared and choked Billy Costa's Daemon. That part shocked most of us. Yup, the Monkey is evil. My favourite scenes are the Polar Bear Fight and the War Between Bolvangarians against the Gyptians, Witches & Iorek. The coolest part is that you'll see Golden Dusts appearing as Daemons die during the War. Very cool! Just watch to find out why.

After all of that, we went to Burger King's but only Dayana ate, while the rest of us watched her eating Hershey's Sunday Pie. The rest of us were still full from eating Popcorns, Nachos & Drinking. Later, Dayana's friend & cousin went home to Yishun (they were pretty shy to talk to people) while the four of us went to Century Square, Tampines. We ate at Food Culture and met Syarafina. Haha. Then, after eating, we went to hang out to places, watch tv screens, sing random songs and see clothes and accessories. I tried on a wig, red & brown dyed wig, which was on the head of a mannequin on display at BHG. It was pretty cool but it makes my hair "kembang" or huge. We went to the Pasar Malam, without Fathiah 'cause she had to go home. And Syara bought a pair of Retro Sunglasses which is very nice.

We went to Downtown after that, no absolutely no reason. Haha. We went to chat abit bout some stuffs at McDonald's and then we decided to eat at Dyna's Mum's shop at Tampines. I ate Maggi Goreng and half of Prata Cheese & Mushrooms. Syara & I shared the Prata. Jia Xuan ate so slow, and Chuan Liang came in to join us. In the end, Dyna's Mum was so sweet to give us all a ride home. Hehe. Very cute the way she joke around with her daughter. Ouh...and the four of us (JX, Dyna, Syara & I) had to squeeze at the backseats. Very cute again. Hee

Flashbacks...

Hey...I know I know people keep asking me "You don't update your blog anymore arh?" Well...I'm just lazy to type anything into my blog. Even though I'm always online every night and all, I just keep doing other stuffs instead of updating my blog; like watching videos on Youtube, chatting with people or doing researches about unneccessary stuffs. I'm kinda a Media Freak actually...'cause one proof for that is that I was the first to know, among all my friends, that Wentworth Miller (PrisonBreak) is Gay; and knowing that you can watch Narnia: Prince Caspian Trailer on Youtube already; knowing who is acting as The Joker for next year's Batman Movie called The Dark Knight...and more. Ouh ya...Vanessa Hudgens won't be acting for High School Musical 3. Disney does not want her to act in their next sequel due to the nude pictures of her over the Net. I can be a reporter for you guys about the whole world actually. Ouh...I also know secrets about the people in school, both teachers and students. But I won't tell those embarrassing secrets to you guys. I'm gonna start a segment called NewsFlash, where new events or stories I found out will be posted here. Hee. Anyway, see, I talk too much. That's why sometimes I hate updating blogs. I'll type so much stuffs...and in the end, No One will read it.

By the way, this post is supposed to be about Flashbacks. I may be doing this kind of post often as I'm always MIA on my blog. And I'm trying very hard to remember those days. So, here's the segment Flashbacks...

Flashback: 11.10.07 Graduation Day
It's our Last Official Day in School!!! Yup...We may choose not to come to school after this day, which is pretty cool. Anyway, our Graduation Ceremony was in the afternoon, straight after school. It was at the School Hall, in which I find the wall on the stage saying "Class of 2007 Graduation Ceremony" kinda nice. Most of us find that Singapore's Graduations in schools are pretty lame but we couldn't not go to the Ceremony 'cause we will receive our report books directly after the ceremony is over. Sigh.
Anyway, Ms Ng was the MC for the ceremony, which was pretty weird to me. Each class had to give a dedication speech to the teachers who has taught us for the past four-five years in Coral Secondary School. Our class sent out Nicholas to give a speech, saying something about Alexander The Great's quotes and saying that these words cannot describe the experience or the teachings or something. I can't remember. 4/10 was the Best...they actually asked to give more than one minute to give the Speech 'cause two of their classmates were gonna sing to the teachers. Hehe...Aww, cute right? They sang Faith Hill's There You'll Be (the theme song for Pearl Harbour) and they gave a flower to Miss Florence Leong. It was a surprising sight, yet, it was very thoughtful and brave of them to sing on stage.
Then, there was a segment where the teachers showed us a video clip containing lots of pcitures of us students since we were Secondary One. How cool is that? They could actually find pictures of us at that age. I looked the same still while most of us had a major makeover now. Sigh. After that, we were all given collar badges saying Class of 2007. The form teachers then had to pin the badges on our collars. However, Mdm Norul didn't come today, thus Mr Loo volunteered to pin the badges on our collars. He is already like a second Form Teacher. I could still remember him ordering McDonalds' for us for our Saturday Supplementary Class (a trick so that we will be present for his classes).
Finally, it was the end of the Ceremony and they end it off by playing (what they called the Graduation Theme Song) High School Musical's Breaking Free. It was an unusual choice of song to end off the ceremony but we all stood up, some stood on chairs, and sang the song by looking at the lyrics on the big screen on stage. Ms Ng kept walking around to find people to sing the song with the microphone. Then, two students from a Sec Five Class, came out, took the microphone and sang duet.
After all the fun was over, all of us ran to the back of the Hall to receive our Report Books. Some were happy, while others were unsatisfied as always. After receiving our Report Books, we could write something on the Helium-filled Balloons that will be given to the Form Teacher. Ouh ya...I forgot. We were fasting on that day...and the school provided food for us. But luckily, they did thought about the Muslims 'cause they prepared boxes of the food for us to bring home to eat. Hehe...
