Clips from Britain's Got Talent...Very Mesmerizing

As bored as I have been, I've been watching video clips of this and that, and came upon this videos. Video clips from Britain's Got Talent Competition(BGT). I can truly say that these people do have talent!!! Some were jaw-dropping, some were emotional, and others just makes your eyes pop out. Of course, in every talent competitions like this, there will always be some that thinks they do have talent but they truly don't and can't accept the judges' critics bout it.

This first video is the very first video I saw bout BGT. This is bout 6-year old Connie Talbot who sang during the audition round. She sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow and totally surprised everyone. Watch this one...

And this one is REALLY surprising. People thought that this Guy was NUTS when he said he's gonna sing Opera. But in the end, TOTAL JAW DROPPING!!! I don't really like Opera as much him but this video did change me abit. Watch him sing, and maybe you too will be changed...

This third video is bout 14-year old Dominic Smith singing Unchained Melody. Very nice song, and very nice voice for an age.

The thing is that this Opera guy, Paul Potts, eventually WON THE COMPETITION!!! The 6-year old Connie made it to the Finals and competed against Paul. This is like a History as NOT many 6-year olds get to sing on stage and gotten so far in a competition. And Congratulations to Paul Potts!!! He's now gotten the Best Prize anyone could ever get in Britain; to Perform in front of the Majesty The Queen. Yup...He sang to the Queen later on. Dominic competed against Paul during the Semi-Finals but didn't got through to the Finals. But Kudos to him still. There are some video clips bout the Semi-Finals of the competition, but I'm just too lazy to Copy and Paste the videos here. Besides, it'll be a long post here. I think I'll just leave the links here so that you could watch them if you're interested...

Been Bored staying at Home...

Lately, I've been very bored staying at home. Guess I do miss school. Kinda ironic isn't it? At times, when in school, you feel you just wanna relax at home. Now, when you've relaxed at home too much, you just wanna go to school. I miss the events or activities in school. Now, I'm just killing time finding new gossips, reading books and magazines, eating, watching tv shows and movies; waiting for the school posting results to arrive. I hope I'll get to Temasek Polytechnic doing the New Course Diploma in Psychology Studies. I like Psychology, kinda cool to know what people are really thinking.

Anyway, although I'm bored at home, you notice that I have many Newsflash!!! Posts (the ones in Red) as I keep posting posts of celebrities here and there. It's kinda fun to know such news. And I've been quite active on Facebook. Try searching for me and add me as a friend. Hehe... I'm still trying to work on Friendster though.

By the way, I met my Primary School Best Friend at White Sands this afternoon. His name is Hong Xiang. We are very close during Primary School but we sorta lost contact from each other ever since we reached Secondary Years. He went to Pasir Ris Secondary School (Not Pasir Ris Crest) in Tampines there I think, and here I am, or now was, at Coral Secondary School.

Haha...He still look the same though, and is still taller than me. Sigh. We had a friendly chat. Apparently, both of us were helping our Mums buying groceries at NTUC, we both scored 15 for R5 and 11 for R4, scored A2 for Emaths and Biology, B3 for Chemistry & Physics...and I forget the rest. I mean, we had so many common things. Wow actually. Well, we were Best Friends, so what to expect? Hehe

Newsflash!!! - Protests Against Heath's Funeral???

Not too long after Heath Ledger's death was reported, the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) was said to have released a press statement announcing they have plans to protest the actor's funeral. Have they no shame?

The WBC refer to him as a pervert and say that he has begun serving his eternal sentence in Hell now. Are they serious? They think Heath deserves punishment because he starred in a love story about two men? Anyone that would think of such hateful things at a time when so many are in shock and grieving lacks human compassion and a normal sense of right and wrong.

Some people commented:
"How can people be filed with such hate. This is disgusting."

"Sometimes I wonder if they worship the devil instead but then again the devil probably doesn't want to deal with them."
"Delusional idiot Phelps who runs that Church is more proof there is no such thing as God. He is also more proof that Religion is dangerous regardless if Christian fanatic or Muslim fanatic."
"This is not a church anymore than all Germans are racist anti-semites or Japanese are all killers. Even the Baptists do not affiliate with this hate group."
"I like your Christ.I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ.-Ghandi"
"I am a Christian and picketing this mans funeral is soooooo wrong!! Not all christians believe like this........"
"I'm not a super religious person but I still believe anyone who preaches hate instead of love is serving someone other than God."

Well, what do you think?

The small church runs numerous websites such as GodHatesFags.com, GodHatesAmerica.com and others expressing condemnation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people (LGBT), Roman Catholics, Muslims and Jews, as well as populations it believes are supporting the forementioned groups, including Swedes, Canadians, Irish, British, and Americans.

While its members identify themselves as Baptists, the church is an independent church not affiliated with any known Baptist conventions or associations, nor does any Baptist institution recognize the church as a Bible-believing fellowship. The church describes itself as following Primitive Baptist and Calvinist principles. Its first public service was held on the afternoon of Sunday, 27 November 1955.

Okay... Enough with all these rubbish ya? His funeral is expected to take place in secret in his hometown of Perth, Australia, next two weeks. Here are some Tributes for Heath Ledger's Death. (I don't know why I'm so obsessed with his death)

And this second video is on the Ellen Degeneres Show where Ellen pays tribute to Heath by showing a clip of the last time Heath Ledger was on her show. (It kinda made me teary abit. Almost cried)

Newsflash!!! - Happy 50th Birthday Ellen!!!

Well, the title says it all; HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY ELLEN DEGENERES!!! If you don't know who Elle DeGeneres is, well, SHAME ON YOU!!! She's is actually my Favourite Idol and she's the First Person I wanna meet!!! I LOVE HER!!! She's Very Funny!

Apparently, she's just turned 50 this 26 January 2008. Kinda old, ya, but she doesn't even look 50!!! She still looks young. And some people say people will look young if they aren't married. Maybe we've found the Remedy to look young even when you're old. But no matter how old she is, I'ld still Love her.

She has made a home for herself in the daytime arena with her hit syndicated talk show, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." The show now in its fifth season has recently won six Daytime Emmys, including Outstanding Talk Show for the fourth year in a row and Outstanding Talk Show Host for the third year in a row. The show has now earned a total of 21 Daytime Emmy Awards during its first four seasons. Additionally, DeGeneres won two People's Choice Awards for Favorite Daytime Talk Show Host and Favorite Funny Female Star for the third year in a row. She also won the Johnny Carson Producers of the Year Award in Variety Television from the Producers Guild in 2005 and 2006.

DeGeneres also had the honor of hosting the 79th Annual Academy Awards for the first time this past February and was recently nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Performance In A Variety or Music Program. She is actually the first Openly Gay Celebrity to Host the Annual Academy Awards!!!

Anyway, enough said. Let's watch some videos for a change...

This video is about Ryan Seacrest giving a Birthday Gift to Ellen, and also, not really what you think it is. Watch till the End...
This is about some Celebrities that were on the Ellen DeGeneres Show from several of the previous episodes singing I Will Survive for Ellen.

I actually have two more videos to show you all from the Ellen 50th Birthday Episode but the Owner of the videos disabled the Embedding of the videos. So, I can only give you the links. The first one is when Ellen blows out the candles on her Huge Birthday Cake, while the second one is about Celebrities leaving Ellen Voicemails on her phone to wish her Birthday. Tom Cruise is funny in the video and so are others. If you don't wanna watch them, at least watch the second video.

O Level Results Finally Released...

Okay, this post is supposed to be scheduled for 24th January 2008, but I'm actually writing this on 30th January 2008. I've been very busy finding many news and sources bout Heath Ledger's death. I don't know why I'm obsessed about his death... I guess my curiosity got the better of me. It did keeps me busy though.

Anyway, back to the main topic. Everybody who went to school on this day were feeling nervous, scared, and some excited to receive their results. 'Cause maybe I guess they really can't wait to get it over with. Some of us had long hair and were sent to the Foyer to collect their results there. I actually had quite a long hair, but I was allowed to take my results in the Hall. I guess the teachers really like me and gave me a chance. Haha...It's cool to be a Teacher's Pet or a Favourite of the School.

When we were in the Hall, the Principal gave a short speech or something, saying we did better than the previous cohort and she was proud of us. Mr Melvin Tan told us some important things bout the results and the JAE stuff. Mdm Siti, on the other hand, showed us the statistics of this year's and last year's results. More like comparing. When she told us that we've got a 100% Pass for Malay Language, I shouted "Woo!!!" and everyone looked back to find the source of the shout. We also had a 100% Pass for Punjabi, but the thing is, our school has only one Punjabi student. And that it Manveer from 4/1. Haha. Ouh, they showed the school's Great Performers for the O Level Exams. The first was Shawn Chua who's gotten 9 points for R5, same goes for Xin Rong. Phoebe Xie was next with 10 points, followed by Gina Teo with 10 too. Congratulations to them!!!

Then, it was time to finally give out the results to the students. Mine was almost quite to the end as my register number is 34 out of 39. So, being late has made me watched tears of both joy and disappointment, screams of happiness and also the reluctance of accepting their failure. Some called their friends or family right after they held their results slips and papers. It was cool to see people shouting to their parents on the phone saying that they've achieved their targets, especially Max who recieved a 16. He shouted on the phone "I'VE GOT SIXTEEN!!!" He was very excited. Some people just ran off out of the hall directly after they received their results. Others just cried, or rather stared blankly at walls or ceilings or keeping quiet most of the time. The thing that bothers me is that the Photography Club members went around to take pictures of us. Some even sat beside the students who are taking their results in front of their form teachers. I was like Huh?

Before my turn, it was Hakim's turn. Once he sat on the chair, his family (yup...his Dad, Sisters & Mum i think came) quickly stood behind him to see his results. And then, after opening the envelope (Form A) the family put on a great smile and were happy. Of course, later on I asked him bout his results. It seems that he scored 14 for his R5 and 11 for R4. Hehe. Kudos for him!!!

My turn finally arrived. I was scared la when I looked at Mdm Norul's face. She had that sad disappointed face looking at my result slip. I was literally at the side-end of the chair. Then, she said "The good news is that you don't have any C's or D's or fail" Haha. I was happy to hear that and looked at the results. The first thing I did was to find any A1's in my results. Finally, I saw the word 'One' and it's on the LAST subject I would ever THINK of to get a DISTINCTION!!! IT'S MY MALAY LANGUAGE!!! I've NEVER gotten an A for all of my Final Year Exams before in my Secondary Life. The highest I've got for Malay is B3. And now, I've jumped TWO Grades up. I saw Mdm Siti walked past me and I literally jumped up & down in front of her shouting like a Mad Person, as if I've just won the Lottery or something. Then, of course, with all that shouting, my classmates began to come close to me to know why I was happy. I went back to sit down on the chair and everyone around me saw the A1 for my Malay. They congratulated me for that. I began to open Form A, rather slowly actually. I then saw that I've gotten 15 for my R5 and 11 for R4. It seems Hakim beats me once again. Haha. But I was so happy!!!

Mr Wong was the first to SMS me bout my results. Haha. Followed by Shahirah and so on. I called Adelaida from Cedar Secondary School, and found out she's got 8 points for her R5. I was like WOAH!!! If that's not surprising enough, she told that she's got 4 Bonus Points, meaning she'll get 4 points after subtracting 4 from 8 points. She got the 4 Bonus Points from her CCA, Higher MT and French. COOL RIGHT??? And the thing is...SHE'S NOT HAPPY!!! I was like "I got 15 and I'm happy. You got 8 and you're sad. Now, you made me sad" If she don't want the points, give me la.

Later, I changed shirt to meet Sabrina & Siti at Burger King's White Sand to eat and just sit down and talk. But Siti left right after I've just gotten my order, so Sabrina & I talked as much as we can until we had to head home after that.

Newsflash!!! - Actor Found Dead at the Age of 28

Tragedy strucks this week when 28-year old actor was found dead in his apartment this Tuesday 22nd January 2008. He was found lying naked and unconscious in his bed at his $US23,000 a month apartment on Broome Street, SoHo, in Manhattan, by his housekeeper and a masseuse about 3:35pm local time, when they knocked on his bedroom and got no reply.

He had an appointment for a massage, said New York Police spokesman Paul Browne

Police said there were prescription sleeping pills near Ledger's body, but there was no obvious sign he had committed suicide.

CBS says that all of these items were listed on the official police report from the scene, but it should be stressed that it’s unknown whether or not these items belonged to Heath or if he had ingested them.

All items are being tested, but it will be a while before Heath’s toxicology reports are back from his inconclusive autopsy.

The actor was sick with pneumonia when he died, the TMZ.com website reports, saying it had been contacted by representatives of Ledger's family, who said they'd been told by police that the actor's death was accidental. The New York police however, said they could not confirm Ledger was suffering from pneumonia.

"The medical examiner, once he or she conducts an autopsy, will determine exactly the cause of death,'' said Lieutenant John Grimpal from the New York Police Department.

An autopsy on Heath Ledger was inconclusive, and more tests are needed, the medical examiner's office said Wednesday.

It will take about 10 days to complete the investigation, said Ellen Borakove, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner.

Reports say Heath wasn’t sleeping much, and couldn’t seem to relax. Rather than address this health crisis in the making, Heath pushed ahead with his workaholic schedule. At 28 years-old he might have been okay, except for the possibility that he may have used several medications together which are sedatives. When used together the effects are not only tripled, but they cause a paradoxical effect which can cause the heart to stop or beat ineffectively causing a lack of blood pressure or blood circulation, aka circulatory collapse. It appears exhaustion, pneumonia, and a misuse of prescription drugs may have led to Heath’s death, and not illegal narcotics.

He said he "stressed out a little too much" during the Nolan film, and had trouble sleeping while portraying the Joker, whom he called a "psychopathic, mass-murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy."

"It was a very great challenge for Heath," Nolan said. "He's extremely original, extremely frightening, tremendously edgy. A very young character, a very anarchic presence that taps into a lot of our basic fears and panic."

"Last week I probably slept an average of two hours a night," Ledger told The New York Times. "I couldn't stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was still going." He said he took two Ambien pills, which only worked for an hour.

Heath Ledger's family rejected any suggestion that the actor killed himself "We, Heath's family, can confirm the very tragic, untimely and accidental passing of our dearly loved son, brother and doting father of Matilda".

Brokeback Mountain established Ledger as one of his generation's finest talents and an actor willing to take risks. That ability helped him to win the role of The Joker this year in The Dark Knight, a sequel to the 2005 Batman Begins.

"Working with Heath was one of the purest joys of my life," said Ang Lee, who directed Ledger in "Brokeback Mountain."

"I had such great hope for him," Mel Gibson, who played Ledger's father in "The Patriot," said in a statement. "He was just taking off and to lose his life at such a young age is a tragic loss."

Meanwhile, tributes from fellow Australians flooded in Wednesday, with actress Nicole Kidman called Ledger's death a "terrible tragedy."

Cate Blanchett, who starred with Ledger in the Bob Dylan bio-flick "I'm Not There," a role that earned her an Oscar nomination Tuesday for best supporting actress, said she was "shocked and saddened" at the news.

"I deeply respect Heath's work and always admired his continuing development as an artist," Blanchett said in a statement published by News Ltd. newspapers online. "My thoughts are with his family and close friends."

Someone informed Jack Nicholson that Heath had died from a drug overdose, which does not appear to be true, and Jack said, "I warned him."

Australia's Prime Minister Kevin Rudd expressed shock over losing "one of our nation's finest actors in the prime of his life."

Ledger split last year with Michelle Williams, who played his wife on the set of "Brokeback Mountain." The two had a daughter, the now 2-year-old Matilda, and had lived together in Brooklyn's Boerum Hill neighborhood.

Heath Ledger had been battling a vicious bout of depression. "Heath was living in New York to be close to his daughter. But he hardly ever ventured out anymore." Jake Gyllenhaal has been worried about him for months. And he knew Heath was sinking further into a depression. Jake is Matilda’s godfather, and he and Heath had become really close since they did the film Brokeback together.

In the wake of Heath Ledger’s death, President Bush postponed a White House event scheduled for Wednesday's afternoon in the Roosevelt Room, where he was due to launch an ad campaign aimed at preventing prescription drug abuse.

The president was to make a statement on the Office of National Drug Control Policy’s new TV ad regarding the fact that the use of prescription painkillers remains popular among young people, but White House press secretary Dana Perino said the event, which had been scheduled for a while, was suddenly a bit too timely.

"We thought it would be better to postpone the event," Perino said, "rather than run the risk of anyone thinking that we were being opportunistic in highlighting the issue."

Even the Whitehouse has respect for Heath, as we all do.

Production on Heath Ledger’s latest fantasy adventure movie, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, was shut down hours after news broke of the actor’s untimely death.

"I just got the call [Tuesday] saying everyone was being let go," an on-set source in Vancouver tells Us Weekly. "We were supposed to start this weekend, but obviously they fired everyone today. They don’t know yet what they are doing with the footage that was already shot. Right now, everyone is in complete shock and can’t even speak."

Less than an hour after news of Ledger's death broke, fan sites including heathledger.net, heathbaby.com and heathledgercentral.com and heathledger.com had melted down and were inaccessible.

Messages of sorrow from fans are flooding unofficial Heath Ledger pages and fan groups on MySpace and Facebook. Already, at least two "R.I.P Heath Ledger'' Facebook groups have been created as memorials.

Fans left flowers and candles outside the apartment building in Manhattan's SoHo where the body of the Oscar-nominated star of "Brokeback Mountain" was found.

One note said, "I couldn't find anything bad about you."

It takes a Fool to do Brave Things...

This morning, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I got an sms from Sabariah, which she replied to my message about 11 hours ago last night. I was pretty fed up 'cause most of the sms i sent gets replied late. So, I thought bout some stuffs and there I was, being depressed bout my life; which I won't write bout it more here. Thinking about all those negative things has actually made me cry; I still don't know why. Due to that, I went into a depressed state.

However, later, my Mum brought me to White Sands to eat Prata at Banquet Signature for Breakfast; or more like Brunch. We spend some time talking bout this and that and it really reduces my Depression Level. We went to the Library to read some stuffs. And as usual, I'll go to the Catalogue Station and type in the name Neil Gaiman (my favourite author) to see if any of his books are Not On Loan in the Pasir Ris Library. And I saw the usual results, having most of them being On Loan. Until something caught my eye; Stardust book is Not On Loan!!! I quickly walked quickly (or I think I ran) to the Fiction Section, at the GAI shelf and Voila...The Stardust Book is directly in front of me!!! I quickly grabbed it, took it away to a Sofa, sat on it and began to read the pages of the book I've longed and searched for. Finally, I've found the book...

As I read the book, I saw Sabariah walking past me, but she didn't see me at all when I was directly in front of her!!! And so, I keep tracking her to where she was heading. And finally, she saw me and stared in wonder, thinking if I am Zul. She then came up to me and asked "Zul eh?" I pretend I didn't know her at all, saying "Ermm, sorry but you've got the wrong person." And she actually bought it, and left saying "Oh, sorry." As she walked away, she kept glancing at me to confirm whether I am Zul or not. (S'poreans will say Paiseh) However, I smiled and giggled at that time and she quickly pushed me and poking me 'cause I lied to her. I actually looked real being someone else. Haha...That was funny.

And then, she invited me to hang out with her and Rasyidah to Bugis or other places. Of course, as indecisive as I always am, I kept thinking for a long time as to whether I wanna join them or not. In the end, I went with them. Of course, before that, I borrowed the Stardust book.

We went to Century Square to eat at Food Culture. There, I saw my Cousin-in-law's Sister-in-law working as the cashier. Of course, I asked if she remembers me or not, and after some talking here and there, I went to sit with Sab & Rasy. Sab ate Cheese Fries, Rasy bought Chicken Chop while I bought Fish & Chips but Rasy and I switched food 'cause she doesn't like the Chicken. And again, I became Emo again. Later, we saw Hazelin and asked her to join us. She ate Fish Ball Noodles (I guess) and we chat bout stuffs for awhile.

After eating, Hazelin went back home while the rest of us went to Bugis as Rasy wanna get her paycheck from the Cafe she worked. As we walked out from the MRT Station, we saw the Floor Fountain outside Bugis Junction. My Heart was like asking me to walk into it and get wet but my Heart pounded like MAD as I was scared to walk into it in front of all those people walking pass the area. So, my Mind then moved my legs away from the Floor Fountain and we went on to go to the Cafe Rasy worked at.

After Rasy took her paycheck, we went back to Bugis Junction to get to Bugis Street. Right there again, my Heart pounded like Hell now. Then, Adrenaline Rush. My blood were literally cold and hot at the same time. It's that nervous feeling when you're about to do something either Stupid or Brave or Both. And at that moment, I quickly gave my handphone to Sab and her sling bag. I wanted to get it over with, so I quickly walked towards the fountain. I stood in the middle of it, not realising that a hose was directly beneath me, in between my legs. It quickly shoots up a jet of water right below me and BAMM, hits me on the crotch. However, I was having so much fun getting wet that I don't remember feeling any pain due to that. I was completely drenched and everyone around were laughing at me wondering why the Heck was a teenage guy playing in the fountain. As I got away from the fountain, I found out that a tourist was filming a scene of the fountain with some children but eventually caught me in the film. Haha...I guess he caught the whole time I was in the fountain. Who knows? I might appear on America's Funniest Home Videos.

We went for a walk but I was still drenched. So, I stood at the sunlight as much as I can and flap my shirt to dry my clothes abit. I was actually proud to do what I did that day. I told my friends "It takes a Fool to do Brave Things..." Thus, the Brave ones are those that are foolish to do things that are crazy. I am really really proud. However, doing that getting-wet-at-a-fountain thing does comes with a price. I was freezing to death on the way home on the Bus, as Air-conditioned bus and a wet kid creates a chilly and frigid shivering young man. My teeth were literally shaking. But it was worth it I guess...

Flashback: 19.01.08 A Trip to God-grandmother's House Yesterday

Yesterday, my parents' new bed finally arrived. It's super duper soft, made from materials used by NASA. Yup, the Space Station in the US. Even the pillows are soft. I think it's foam or something like that. I can say that I'll sleep in a minute just lying on it. Hehe... Ouh ya, one of the "bed makers" that came to fix up the bed was a Coral Student. If I'm not mistaken, he's Sec 4 now. Haha. Now, he knows where I live, and now, I know where he works.

Anyway, after the bed has been made, my God-grandmother called us to get porridge from her house, Bubur Asyura. Anyway, she is actually my old neighbour from my previous home flat, Block 560. A very generous lady that usually every Ramadhan, she will give us some food to break fast, and we gave her something back in return. Even now, she will call us to get food from her house.

She gave us Bubur Asyura due to the month being Muharram. Yesterday was 10th Muharram, so her maid quickly bought ingredients for the porridge and Nek Wan (we call her that) cooked the porridge in one huge pot. She wanted to give the food to everyone she knows in the neighbourhood. So, when I arrived there, after she handed me the porridge, she told me a story about the porridge. A history of Nabi Sulaiman or King Solomon in the ancient days making the porridge on a ship. And talking about why people these days like to throw away babies, killing people after they rob or rape them and more stuffs. The cutest thing about Nek Wan is that she spoke a bit of English to me, saying "My eyes can see not clear" and "I can speak English abit" to me. That was the time I have ever heard her speak English. It was cute. Kinda reminds me of Dyna's Grandma. Haha...

American Idol Season 7 - Favourite Moments of the Auditions (First Two Episodes)

Alright, here are videos from the American Idol Season 7, the favourite moments to me, of the Auditions in the first two episodes. Actually there are others I wanna show but it's either I can't find them on Youtube (my great source for Entertainment) or I can't remember the names of the singer or I'm just lazy to find them. But I did try to find one of them but failed to get it.

Anyway, the videos here are the funny ones. I couldn't find the great singers videos so, I can only show you the funny ones. The top left video is the one of James Lewis singing Go Down Moses. His super Bass voice was funny to watch and it made me laughed alot of times just remembering his voice.

The top right video is the one of Alexis Cohen singing Somebody to Love. I don't really know what's her problem 'cause she shouted vulgarities here and there, pointing middle fingers to the camera and even lying saying that Simon said mean stuffs to her. Simon wasn't really mean to her. He said that the competition isn't the route for her. He even gave advice to her saying that she should just be a Vet and be normal or end up with a Band. And she just had to lie saying that Simon said mean stuffs like "Ego testicles"? She's creepy, and I don't know whether it's true or not but they say that she has Aspergers Syndrome, which is a form of Autism in a high IQ form. Scary...

And the last video is clearly my most favourite as I made it the biggest video clip of them all. Its a clip of Renaldo Lapuz singing his own composed song entitled We're Brothers Forever. A song for Simon actually. I crack out laughing when at the ending, Randy, Ryan & Paula joined him singing the song and Simon kept saying "All together now". The part when I laughed the most was when Paula became a Showgirl in front of Simon, and even did some Sign Languages. She even Danced to the song. I like her. Haha... Oh, even after the audition, that Renaldo guy still cracks me up. He said that he likes Simon and saying that he's HEAVEN CHOSEN!!! HAHAHA!!!

There is one video i'm searching for which is about a girl (name starting with K) that has an Amazing voice. She did some great impersonations of some singers and she sang very well. If you know who I'm talking about, please tell me. Thanks Merry Much... ;)

Movie Time!!! - Jumpers

Here's the upcoming movie 'Jumper' which will be released in Singapore on 14th February 2008, while it'll be released in the UK on 15th February 2008 (sorry Dyna). Singapore is one of the few countries to release the movie in Cinemas first by the way. And yes, it's on Valentine's Day. Also, Singapore will be releasing 'P.S. I Love You' on that day too. Singapore is very slow sometimes for such movies, 'cause 'P.S. I Love You' was released in December in USA and Singapore is releasing it next month.

Back to the movie, it's entitled Jumper. There'll be fighting scenes here and there and great visual effects in the movie, but it won't disappoint the girls as Hayden Christensen is the Main Actor in the movie. The trailer on the left is the Official Trailer for the first few countries to watch the movie (14th Feb) while the one on the right is the World Premiere (15th Feb).

Here's the Plot Outline: A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between "Jumpers" and those who have sworn to kill them.

First of all, this is not a Nightcrawler (X-Men) movie where he can teleport here and there. It's adapted from the book Jumper by Steven Gould. And for those who doesn't know what's 'teleport' or who Nightcrawler is, 'Teleportation' is the movement of objects or elementary particles from one place to another, more or less instantaneously, without traveling through space. Meaning, it simply disappear and reappear in another place. Ask me if you've got some questions, got it? Just watch the movie...

Movie Time!!! - Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Here's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, featuring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall & Sacha Baron Cohen. Johnny & Helena has once again paired up to act in the same movie (the previous one was in Corpse Bride). Also, if you have watched Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix, Helena's the one portraying as Bellatrix Lestrange (the one who killed Sirius Black). Speaking of Harry Potter, two other co-stars also acted in the Harry Potter Series; Alan plays as Prof Snape while Timothy plays as Wormtail. Sacha Baron Cohen acted as Borat in Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

Anyway, back to the movie, it's actually a Musical Movie. It's a movie remake of the original hit Broadway Musical played in 1979. As always, Tim Burton's the Director of Unusual Horror Thriller Comedy Movies (he's one of my favourites). This movie has been released in December last year in the West; mainly USA & UK. Singapore will released it in February, as always (being slow).

This story is about Benjamin Barker(Johnny Depp) who was framed and jailed for life. He eventually escapes after 15 years and turns into Sweeney Todd to get revenge. He became a barber in Fleet Street, and, the trailer has already showed you why. He cuts their throats using his Shaver-Knife. His fellow tenant Mrs Lovett(Helena Bonham Carter) bakes pies and tries to help Sweeney to get his revenge.

This story is a Musical, so if you don't like Musicals, for the girls, Johnny Depp won't disappoint you so try and watch. As it is a Musical, everyone must sing. Helena had to take up lessons on singing and BAKING PIES!!! 'Cause in one scene, she had to sing and bake a pie simultaneously and she has to make it perfect. Tim Burton said that he chose Alan Rickman as he's a great actor but he didn't know until now that he has an amazing voice when he sings!!! Well, another reason to watch the movie; watching Prof. Snape singing. Hehe...

My First ATM Card...

Finally I've got an ATM Card! Haha. Cool ya? I went to accompany my Mum to the Bank at White Sands as she wants to renew her ATM Card; her old card got some plastic covering tearing out and sometimes it won't fit into the ATM. So, since she's gonna go to the bank, she asked whether I wanna get my own ATM Card. Of course, I shouted YES! Hehe.

We went to the bank, and first renewed my Mum's card. Then, at the same teller station, we asked if I could create my own ATM Card. She said "Yes" and we proceed onto having to create the card. After this and that, she asked me to sign a paper. I haven't truly know my signature yet as I keep changing it (the curves, the straight lines etc.) so, she asked to sign on a piece of paper. When she said that it's good, I went on to sign on the document paper. The thing is, due to my hand-writing, I signed on the paper too small. She gave me another document paper, asking me to resigned on the paper but magnify it abit. And then I gave a huge signature on the box given. But it was quite different from the original signature saying that the 'Z' on the signature was further away. So, she gave me the same piece again and ask me to sign it again. I was too stressed out just trying to sign papers. And I had a difficult time trying to figure out what my PIN Numbers should be...

Whatever it is, I FINALLY HAVE AN ATM CARD!!!

Dyna Going Off...

Just got back from the Airport, seeing Dyna off back to England. Rather sad actually as time flies so fast. But, I did had some great moments spending the last hour with Dyna and family & friends. She had to get back to England as the next day was her exams. She actually brought back her textbooks to Singapore to study abit here. Amazing she can manage her studies and spending time with us.

I reached the Airport Terminal One by Bus, and when I reached there, I saw the flight delay on the Departure Screen. It delayed from 1.40am to 2.20am for some reason. And looking at the screen, I found out its at Belt 2. So, I quickly went to Belt 2. However, neither she nor her family & friends were there. So, I called her to ask if she's still in Singapore, and she replied that she's at Burger King with the rest of them. So, I went to Burger King's and saw a long row of Dyna's family filling in 4-5 tables while her friends (Fairul, Shahid, Idrus, Syara, Diana & Chuan Liang) occupied 1 & 1/2 tables. Of course I sat the friends' tables. When I waved at them, Dyna's family were staring at me in surprise. Haha. And Dyna told me "My uncle asked where's the other guy the other day?" Due to that, I looked at her uncle and waved & smiled at him. Hee...

We laughed at Shahid's jokes, listen to some songs and all. Then, Dyna's family decided to stand and walk around the Airport. While doing that, Dyna's Grandma sang to Dyna a Japanese song, most probably a lullaby or a nursery rhyme, that was sweet and pleasant to listen. Even Dyna sang along 'cause according to her, her Grandma kept singing that song to her. She said that her Grandma learnt the song during World War II. Which has led to Shahid saying "Oh, so if you want to be alive during the war, you better learn the song." Haha...When we were reaching to the Skytrain to Terminal 3, her Grandma wore Dyna's Brother's huge jacket. It covered her whole body until her knees. It was funny and cute, 'cause she looks like a Penguin with the Hoodie over her head. Everyone laughed and she smiled along. She even wanted to get a picture taken on the Skytrain wearing that. She's very cute, I can tell you that. And I salute her for being an active Lady.

We went for a free self-guiding tour around Terminal 3, admiring the great architecture and enchanting furnitures and fountains placed around the Terminal. We walked past a Bar and saw two Americans (I assume) sleeping in their sleeping bags on the sofa of the Bar. At first sight, we thought it was some pile up stuffs from construction or something as the place still had some constructions to be done. As we got closer, we were shocked to see humans sleeping there. Dyna's Grandma felt tired after walking and intends to ask one of the cleaners there to ride their mopping machines or something that could bring her to the Skytrain faster. But, she didn't ask. I also found out she had an operation on her right leg from another one of Dyna's Grandma or Auntie (I'm not too sure but she's over 70 years old). And now, her left leg is starting to get tired and painful. It was nice talking to her other Grandma/Auntie bout life in India, on how difficult it is to get to a Doctor and the Airport; walking through the forest and all. I am always good at talking with senior people, rather than talking with those under my age. I'm not really good at talking and playing with kids.

Later, my phone rang. My Dad asked me to meet him & my Mum at Popeyes on the Third Floor of Terminal One, saying that I had to go home. So, I went to say goodbye to Dyna, wishing her the best of luck for her life in England and hugged her. Then, I went to say goodbye to everyone there, 'salam' Dyna's family...and best of all, hugged Dyna's Grandma, 'cause she's cute and she reminds me of my late Grandma. So, hugging her feels like I was hugging my late Grandma. Which was very emotional.

I met my parents at Popeyes there and ate abit of the chicken. It's really delicious actually. Plan to eat there again inviting friends, but the price of the foods are quite expensive. Maybe once I've got a job then I'll go there.

We were Soldiers...

Quite an unexpecting title for a post on my blog huh? 'Cause those who know me would never have guess to see such words coming out from my mouth. However, it's actually the title of a movie I just watched bout 3hours ago. It's a Midnight Movie on Channel 5. I didn't really expect myself to watch a War Movie actually, but the first part of the movie was quite funny. So, I followed the story till the end.

The movie is about the Vietman War in the 1960s, with the Americans & Vietmanese having a war with one another in Vietnam. The movie is more towards the American Army and the main actor is Mel Gibson, acting as Lieutenant Colonel Hal Moore.

I watched the movie due to its humourous script in the beginning. Like Sergeant Ernie said to Sergeant Major Basil, "Beautiful morning, Sergeant." And Sergeant Major Plumley replied, "What are you a fucking weatherman now? " That made me laugh. And from there, I started to become interested in the movie. There's a 2nd Lieutenant Jack who said some things that were meaningful. He said that he wants to protect orphans, not making orphans. That's something worth fighting for.

So, when it was time for all the soldiers to go to war, Lt. Colonel Hal gave a speech to his men before going to battle. "I can't promise you that I will bring you all home alive. But this I swear, before you and before Almighty God, that when we go into battle, I will be the first to set foot on the field, and I will be the last to step off, and I will leave no one behind. Dead or alive, we will all come home together. So help me, God."

And he really was indeed the first man to step on the battlefield before anyone else. And so, the War began. I didn't really quite like the war part 'cause lots of the "heroes" of the movie eventually died. Like Jack (the one who wants to protect orphans) saw his friend being shot so he quickly carried him on his shoulder to go back to their base. However, while carrying his friend, he was shot and died. I almost cried at that part and shouted FUCK. During the war, a reporter apparently rode a helicopter going to the base. The pilot told him he was crazy but still gave him a ride. The reporter, Joe Galloway, then took shots of pictures with his camera. Lt. Colonel Hal Moore's boss, I guess it's the General, told him to come back to Headquarters but he told him that he won't leave his men behind as he made a promise to them. The really sad part is when the wives back at home in America receive letters bout their dead husbands in Vietnam.

The reporter was at the battlefield for a long time now until Sergeant Major Basil gave him a rifle to hold and shoot at anyone. Joe say he only shoots with his camera and is a non-combatant but the Sergeant said "Ain't no such thing today." And he did shoot some of the enemies with his rifle and back to shoot pictures soon after.

In the end, the Americans won the battle at the Ia Drang Valley of Vietnam, using machine guns and missiles from helicopters & airplanes. But what really made me salute the Lieutenant (Mel Gibson) was when he said to Joe(reporter) "I'll never forgive myself."
Joe asked "For what, sir?"
And he replied, "That my men... that my men died and I didn't."
Now, that's a true Leader. He cried to see Jack dead as he was his favourite soldier and leader.
Joe didn't know what to write for his report and when his fellow reporters interviewed him, he was speechless and its as if he didn't care bout it. When friendly bombs exploded at the place, the interviewers ducked their heads while Joe simply stayed calm as he has heard the explosion many times to say that it was a friendly American bomb.

And the Lieutenant told him to write the story, tell the American people what these men did here. "You tell them how my troopers died." And Joe nodded. Finally, every American soldier from the field, dead or alive, headed back to Headquarters through the helicopters. And as promise, the Lieutenant was the last person to step off from the field.

Joe finally ended the movie with his story. "Some had families waiting, for others their only family would be the men they bled beside, there were no bands, flags no honor guards to welcome them home, they went to war because their country ordered them to, but in the end they fought not for country or their flag, they fought for each other. We who have seen war will never stop seeing it, in the silence of the night we will always hear the screams. So this is our story... For we were soldiers once and young."

Chalet with Dyna & Band Seniors...

After that unforgettable painful massage, I went to Dyna's Chalet (sponsored by Chuan Liang) at Costa Sands Pasir Ris (S05) yesterday evening. I just got back from the chalet by the way so I'm quite tired and can still smell barbeque smoke from my body.

Anyway, the moment I reached, I actually apologised saying that I'm late. Haha. I came at around 8 plus. But there weren't any meeting time or anything. So, when I arrived, I saw Chuan Liang at the BBQ pit and Fairul, Zarifah & Yvonne were sitting on three stools in front watching Chuan Liang. I also saw Syara & Idrus there, but other than that, the chalet was like empty. So, I went upstairs and saw Dyna on the bed with Diana and Fathiah. They were playing Boggle I think. I hugged Dyna and actually called her fat...'cause I was being honest and thinks that she ate alot of food here in Singapore (probably 'cause she misses the food in S'pore). But she's still cute to look at. Haha. Later, I saw Frederick in his Temasek JC t-shirt and Hansley in his Coral Sec Uniform. Shahid, Shining, Syazwana and many others soon appear.

I can't remember when but later, we had a Pillow Fight. Fairul was like alone against some of the rest as he was quite violent slamming the pillows onto people. We later tried to call people up to surprise and hit them. Shahid suggested me but I was actually behind him. Haha. After that, I and Syara watched Supernatural on Channel 5 on the TV screen. I ate bout two slices of Chocolate cake as I was hungry waiting for BBQed food, and some Mamee Noodle Packets (which I spilled one of them onto the floor). Fairul, Dyna & Fred kept playing Boggle for one hour upstairs, while the others tried to take turns playing PSP and watching people getting the fire started at the BBQ pit.

At around 11pm, we played Murderer. Haha. It was a very fun game. A new version of Murderer for me actually. I actually thought Syara was the murderer while the others thought it was me as I was too quiet during the game. But it turns out to be Hansley. Some of us later played Chap Chali Chap (sorry for spelling error). Fairul was the first and of course, he did crazy stuffs for the rest to follow. The killer move was the Thriller Dance Move. Jia Xuan had to do a forfeit doing the Thriller Dance Move Dyna showed her. Dyna described the move as Spread, "something" & Clap. Very funny.

And here's when my Mum called me to go back home as it was already Midnight. I went home with Diana riding Bus 3A. We thought we had missed the last bus already but the last was at 1am. And we eventually took the last bus as the time was about 12:55am. Thank God!

Back, Shoulders & Neck Massage was a Pain...

Vulgarities practically almost came out from my mouth this afternoon. But apparently, none were said too loud. 'Cause I was at a Massage facility called Wan Yang Foot Reflexology at Tampines Mall, the one in the basement. My mum asked me to go for a massage as she needed a foot massage. She's feeling sick and exhausted so she feels that a foot massage would make her better. I went for the Back, Shoulders & Neck Massage as my neck and back were aching whole day. As I sat on the massage chair, the masseur placed a tissue on the headrest, which I wondered why. Then, it began. He gave a strong push on my lower back and slowly going upwards. By being slow does not make it easier for me. That's when I mouthed the word Oh My God lots and lots of times. He then massage my shoulders as hard as he can, which then led to the words Fuck Fuck Fuck being silently released into the air. The neck was next...and I swear I heard a SNAP from the veins on my neck. It felt painful at first but my neck relaxed abit after that. He later proceeded to my arms and palms. I can say that the massage was a painful experience, as after that, my whole back ached like Hell. During the massage, I figured out why he placed the tissue. I was actually sweating during the massage, probably from all that pain. So, my advice to you people out there who's gonna get a back massage soon, BE PREPARED!!!

A Walk with Mum...

A nice thing actually happened today. My Mum asked me to accompany her to walk around the neighbourhood this afternoon. It was around 5pm (I can remember 'cause that's the time my favourite show The Ellen DeGeneres Show is aired on Channel 5) and I gave up my tv time to walk with her. She wanted to walk around 'cause people has been saying that she's fat. My Dad's Insurance Agent is one of them. Haha. She wanted to slim abit and trying not to lie on the bed. So we walked around the blocks in the area, and we found a cute orange-coloured Kitten under one of the blocks. It resembles a miniature Tiger due to its orange stripes and it has a very long sharp-pointed tail. After finishing patting the cat, we went on to the Fitness Corner beside Coral Primary School. Haha. We exercised abit using the machines. Then, she said "Ouh, it's 5:30pm. Ellen ah..." Of course I said that I knew about it but I still accompany her to walk around. Mummy's Boy. Haha

My cousin came to our house this evening 'cause he wanted a photocopy of my IC. I asked him to find a job for me at the Airport. He said that his Boss has a vacancy for the Lost & Found Section. I guess it could be a nice job, at least better than not having a job and having to sit at home all day doing nothing other than watching tv & videos. I also asked if there are other vacancies 'cause Rasyidah & Yong Kiat wanted a job. Hehe.

I saw my Dad's Car having two TV Screens at the back of the two front seats. It's to watch DVDs & VCDs & stuffs when we're going somewhere far. Cool huh? Only my bro & I could watch. But don't worry, the screens are not directed to the main radio and the screens have earpieces. So, my bro & I could hear the sounds of the screens through the earpieces while my Dad & Mum could continue to listen to the radio. Cool aye?

Newsflash!!! -Heroes In Love...

Milo Ventimiglia & Hayden Panettiere, from the Hit Series 'Heroes', are now officially a couple. People have been wondering alot about it recently, but People Magazine has confirmed that these two are indeed an item. If you don't go with their true names, they're the ones acting as Peter Petrelli & Claire Bennet in Heroes. It was greatly confirmed when both of them attended a Christmas party at the Water Grill in LA, where he made a toast to Hayden and told his co-starts that they were dating.

In Touch Weekly Magazine was told by an eyewitness, "He called her his girlfriend and said that he loved her." The couple spent the rest of the party sitting together and holding hands. A family friend told People,"Hayden's mom adores Milo. She thinks he's so cute. She tells her friends that he's her boyfriend. She's very proud."

It was told that Milo has met the entire Panettiere family, including Hayden's grandparents, and is good friends with her little brother. "At first it doesn’t seem like there’s a big age difference, but then you do see it. … He’s more proper and reserved, and she’s still playful and very girly." Ouh, Hayden is 18 by the way, while Milo is actually 30; which is why people kept asking whether they are a couple or not. Having a huge age difference between them is quite natural in America, so don't freak out upon hearing that such couples exist.

Anyway, this is not the first time Milo dated a co-star. In 2002, he dated co-star Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls but broke up in 2006. Well...that's today's gossip.
