Chinese New Year & Beach Picnic...

This morning, I got a headache on what to wear for the morning. I didn't know what to wear for the Chinese New Year Trip to Mrs Diana's House. My mind was boggling on either to wear Informal or Formal. I wanted to wear like what I wore during my cousin's Dance Concert; that Over-the-Top Image. But I finally decided to wear the Dress Shirt; the one I wore to the Band's Farewell Party last year. The Long-Sleeve Brown with Silver Vertical Stripes Dress Shirt. That's my most expensive shirt yet, cost bout $55.

Anyway, we(the ones going) all met at the Pasir Ris MRT Station and then, towards Mrs Diana House for Chinese New Year. It was a very long walk to her house from the MRT Station. Well, it wasn't really that long. When we finally reached her block, people said that it's on the third last floor when it's actually on the last floor. Thus, some people got lost. Most of us got up to her house first. Some, especially Wee Choon, appear at her doorstep bout a few minutes later using the stairs.

As we gathered around the living rooms in the house, we began to talk abit with Mrs Diana and she ordered us food. She ordered Noodles, Fried Rice for some of us while others, like me, ordered McDonald's. Haha. I can't guarantee the local food were Halal or not so I took the easiest food to eat. While waiting for our food to be ordered and arrive, all of them started Gambling on the coffee table and the floor. Tim Wei & I, on the other hand, played Yugioh Cards. The rest of them played gambling games like Blackjack and In-Between. In-Between is a very nice game actually. It was fun watching them play.

About an hour or so later after our arrival, our Seniors came to the house; The Alex Lee and Kenneth Batch. Bout Six of them came. The two girls went home during the stay and came back to the house carrying a Mahjong Box. We were kinda surprised that they're gonna play Mahjong. Bernard looks like an expert playing Mahjong.

After our visit to Mrs Diana's House for Chinese New Year, I went back to my neighbourhood to see Adelaida and Syahdiqin at Adel's Sister's Wedding Reception. I was a lil' nervous and scared to go there as I'm not truly invited. So, I called Adel and she asked me to walk pass the Block to see Syahdiqin. Haha. When I saw Syahdiqin, it was strange to see her different after all these years of absence. I literally called her face fat, which may have been the wrong move. Haha. I was just being Honest. Her cheeks do look wide. Wide, but strong.

About half an hour later, I was on my way to Pasir Ris Park to go to my Cousin and Family's Picnic. Upon alighting the bus, I saw this One-Eyed Cat on the cement floor. And as a Cat Lover, I patted it. Its fur was so soft! And its One-Eye were so sweet looking at me. It's half blind as obvious.

I saw my Grandfather sitting on the Bench, while my nephews & nieces played with water and my cousins were preparing the food and stuffs. It was Very Windy there. At night, I tried to sleep for awhile and it was super cold due to the strong night breeze. And I was wearing Bermudas instead of Pants or Jeans. So, I was shivering at the Park. After all that, it was finally time to head home...

New Shoes, New Phone, New Line...

Today was a great day, if you still can't tell. I've got new shoes, new phone and new telephone line.

My family first went to Novena Velocity to find my brother and I new shoes. My Dad says that the Adidas Store there had a huge Discount of up to 50% off. Its original yet, cheap. So, as we walked into the store, there many huge signs saying 30% Off, 50% Off here and there. I saw shoes that were nice and tried to find the shoes of my size. (That kinda rhyme doesn't it?) I first saw this Black Shoe with Red stripes over it, called Ultramotion II, and immediately fell in love with it. I tried to find my shoe size which is 9 or 10 (UK). But searching for it was difficult. Then, when we've finally found 9 1/2, I tried it on. It was just my size but there was a little screw up in the sewing of the leather on the inside of the shoe, which felt uncomfortable. So, I gave up searching for the shoe 'cause there were no other sizes of the Ultramotion II. Then, I went on to look at other shoes. Some designs were nice but I couldn't find my size. Some designs weren't that appealing to me so I didn't bother. And then, out of the blue, I saw another Ultramotion II shoe with size 10. I quickly snatched it and began to look inside the shoe to find any screw ups of the sewing. I tried it on, and it felt comfortable. So, I quickly bought it. The shoe costs $106.26 after a 30% Discount.

After walking around abit at Velocity, we went to Tampines Mall to get my phone. Haha...So excited. When we reached there, I saw Hassan and Mostafa trying to buy shoes. And they actually asked me for advice. Haha...

Anyway, went to Singtel's Store there and looked at the brochures for the phones. After a long decision-making, I finally chose Nokia 6500. Kinda the latest model. It's thinner and more stylish than my previous phone, Nokia 6280. I took the Student Plan and got a new line, as my previous phone line is from Starhub. I picked the Number I liked from the board and Voila, I've gotten a New Phone and a New Line. Haha...So happy!!! But I won't be using the new line yet. I need to finish up my previous Prepaid first.

After that, I saw this cool t-shirt from Surfers Paradise and immediately searched for the Medium Size. When I looked at another t-shirt of the same design but a darker colour, I saw the Christian Cross Picture as the main design. Then I look back at the t-shirt in my hands. It's the SAME!!! My Mum and I quickly changed our minds to buy it (as Muslims are generally not allowed to wear clothes with the Christian Cross on it). Then, I looked at another design and bought the Medium size of it. Its a Brown V-Neck T-Shirt. My Dad told me that usually V-Necks are for girls. I was like HUH??? That's weird, 'cause lots of guys wear V-Necks!!! Sigh... I guess my Dad still has the Old Style Taste. But, I still bought the t-shirt. Hehe...

P.S. This post may be a bit boring as I'm having a fever while writing this post. So, I apologise for such an uninteresting story of this day.

Movie Time!!! - Never Back Down

This is the movie Never Back Down. It's more like the movie Fight Club, but it's only for Teenagers. Yup. The fighters are young and (to girls) they are just sexy when they fight one another.

The storyline is just like any other cliche fighting movies, e.g. Karate Kid. A kid was bullied. Kid wants to get revenge. Kid went to train himself vigorously. Kid knows how to fight. Kid finally fights the bully. Kid wins. And The End...

This movie combines both the Eastern and Western Arts of Fighting like Karate, Kick-Boxing, Boxing and more Martial Arts. And actors went through vigorous trainings to get muscles and flexibility with their movements for the movie.

Sean Faris is the main actor of the movie (being the Kid in the movie) and was trained by Djimon Hounsou, who acted as the Leader of the Varden in Eragon.
At his new high school, a rebellious teen (Faris) is lured into an underground fight club, where he finds a mentor in a mixed martial arts veteran (Hounsou).

This movie is currently not gonna be avalaible to Singapore. I guess Singapore has never heard bout the movie or something. 'Cause it'll only be released in USA, UK and France in March and April. So, I guess you'll just watch the trailer or you can download the movie if you know how.

Clips from Britain's Got Talent...Very Mesmerizing

As bored as I have been, I've been watching video clips of this and that, and came upon this videos. Video clips from Britain's Got Talent Competition(BGT). I can truly say that these people do have talent!!! Some were jaw-dropping, some were emotional, and others just makes your eyes pop out. Of course, in every talent competitions like this, there will always be some that thinks they do have talent but they truly don't and can't accept the judges' critics bout it.

This first video is the very first video I saw bout BGT. This is bout 6-year old Connie Talbot who sang during the audition round. She sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow and totally surprised everyone. Watch this one...

And this one is REALLY surprising. People thought that this Guy was NUTS when he said he's gonna sing Opera. But in the end, TOTAL JAW DROPPING!!! I don't really like Opera as much him but this video did change me abit. Watch him sing, and maybe you too will be changed...

This third video is bout 14-year old Dominic Smith singing Unchained Melody. Very nice song, and very nice voice for an age.

The thing is that this Opera guy, Paul Potts, eventually WON THE COMPETITION!!! The 6-year old Connie made it to the Finals and competed against Paul. This is like a History as NOT many 6-year olds get to sing on stage and gotten so far in a competition. And Congratulations to Paul Potts!!! He's now gotten the Best Prize anyone could ever get in Britain; to Perform in front of the Majesty The Queen. Yup...He sang to the Queen later on. Dominic competed against Paul during the Semi-Finals but didn't got through to the Finals. But Kudos to him still. There are some video clips bout the Semi-Finals of the competition, but I'm just too lazy to Copy and Paste the videos here. Besides, it'll be a long post here. I think I'll just leave the links here so that you could watch them if you're interested...

Been Bored staying at Home...

Lately, I've been very bored staying at home. Guess I do miss school. Kinda ironic isn't it? At times, when in school, you feel you just wanna relax at home. Now, when you've relaxed at home too much, you just wanna go to school. I miss the events or activities in school. Now, I'm just killing time finding new gossips, reading books and magazines, eating, watching tv shows and movies; waiting for the school posting results to arrive. I hope I'll get to Temasek Polytechnic doing the New Course Diploma in Psychology Studies. I like Psychology, kinda cool to know what people are really thinking.

Anyway, although I'm bored at home, you notice that I have many Newsflash!!! Posts (the ones in Red) as I keep posting posts of celebrities here and there. It's kinda fun to know such news. And I've been quite active on Facebook. Try searching for me and add me as a friend. Hehe... I'm still trying to work on Friendster though.

By the way, I met my Primary School Best Friend at White Sands this afternoon. His name is Hong Xiang. We are very close during Primary School but we sorta lost contact from each other ever since we reached Secondary Years. He went to Pasir Ris Secondary School (Not Pasir Ris Crest) in Tampines there I think, and here I am, or now was, at Coral Secondary School.

Haha...He still look the same though, and is still taller than me. Sigh. We had a friendly chat. Apparently, both of us were helping our Mums buying groceries at NTUC, we both scored 15 for R5 and 11 for R4, scored A2 for Emaths and Biology, B3 for Chemistry & Physics...and I forget the rest. I mean, we had so many common things. Wow actually. Well, we were Best Friends, so what to expect? Hehe

Newsflash!!! - Protests Against Heath's Funeral???

Not too long after Heath Ledger's death was reported, the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) was said to have released a press statement announcing they have plans to protest the actor's funeral. Have they no shame?

The WBC refer to him as a pervert and say that he has begun serving his eternal sentence in Hell now. Are they serious? They think Heath deserves punishment because he starred in a love story about two men? Anyone that would think of such hateful things at a time when so many are in shock and grieving lacks human compassion and a normal sense of right and wrong.

Some people commented:
"How can people be filed with such hate. This is disgusting."

"Sometimes I wonder if they worship the devil instead but then again the devil probably doesn't want to deal with them."
"Delusional idiot Phelps who runs that Church is more proof there is no such thing as God. He is also more proof that Religion is dangerous regardless if Christian fanatic or Muslim fanatic."
"This is not a church anymore than all Germans are racist anti-semites or Japanese are all killers. Even the Baptists do not affiliate with this hate group."
"I like your Christ.I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ.-Ghandi"
"I am a Christian and picketing this mans funeral is soooooo wrong!! Not all christians believe like this........"
"I'm not a super religious person but I still believe anyone who preaches hate instead of love is serving someone other than God."

Well, what do you think?

The small church runs numerous websites such as GodHatesFags.com, GodHatesAmerica.com and others expressing condemnation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people (LGBT), Roman Catholics, Muslims and Jews, as well as populations it believes are supporting the forementioned groups, including Swedes, Canadians, Irish, British, and Americans.

While its members identify themselves as Baptists, the church is an independent church not affiliated with any known Baptist conventions or associations, nor does any Baptist institution recognize the church as a Bible-believing fellowship. The church describes itself as following Primitive Baptist and Calvinist principles. Its first public service was held on the afternoon of Sunday, 27 November 1955.

Okay... Enough with all these rubbish ya? His funeral is expected to take place in secret in his hometown of Perth, Australia, next two weeks. Here are some Tributes for Heath Ledger's Death. (I don't know why I'm so obsessed with his death)

And this second video is on the Ellen Degeneres Show where Ellen pays tribute to Heath by showing a clip of the last time Heath Ledger was on her show. (It kinda made me teary abit. Almost cried)
