Yes. The poetry actually represents the truth about our playing. I actually do not have faith in us getting a Gold. But a part of me says that we can. It's just a matter of whether we will or will not. It all depends on the judges, If we're lucky, the judges will be in a good mood hearing our Sunrise and will mainly judge on expressions. But even our expressions aren't enough. I don't hear any hills or valleys on the song. Americans really love to judge on this point. So, try to imitate the feelings of the song. Be sad during the sad parts. Be joyful at the fun parts. Create hills and valleys; Expand the dynamics range. Articulations are too late to get improved. But hopefully the judges judge on the other points more. We need to beat Crescent Girls to reach our goal; the achievement of the Gold Award. I too want to feel the glory of obtaining a Gold Award for being in a performing arts group. If this is what the band really wants...Make it happen.
Went to White Sands to grab a late lunch at McDonald's and bought some groceries. Can't believe Nadia(T-bone) said that my outfit is boring and commented on my walking. It's just that I need money to buy new clothes. My wardrobe is like so skinny. Need to buy more. I went to many shops and wanted to buy those cool trends but money was a major problem.
After coming back home, I went to the void deck to listen to the Clarinetists practice. They practiced under my block and I can say that even when I go to the toilet in my house(on the 12th Floor by the way), I can hear Frederick clapping to the tempo and the melody by the clarinets of Sunrise and Alvamar. But it was fun listening to them play. Laughed with Jia Xuan about some band stuffs. Hahakz.
