Trying to create the best scene
Making Hope for it
Adding Life to suspension
And Reality is invented
The run to reach the other end of the Rainbow
Was a failure
Yet...all we could find was a Pot of Copper Gold

Well...I told some people that I won't update this blog for this day. But I really had to...for memory sake. I know we all will never forget this day...but just in case I lost my memory or something. Touchwood. Sorry. Well, today was our SYF day. We were very excited before our performance actually; people caring bout their hair (the guys toilet was filled with all of the guys doing their hair in front of the mirror), their uniform, having the perfume fragrant smell & many more. However, i could see not just excited faces but also, nervous ones. Some people had this look of uneasiness and had uncomfortable faces. They don't seemed focus.

As said, before the performance, we did our warm-ups and the St. Patrick's boys (I call them boys instead of guys) was laughing at us for doing such things. But we didn't care about them. In the end, the moment we have all been waiting for, the moment we've prepared for so long, finally came. "One minute on stage bt One year to prepare". After the performance, some of us cried for not doing their best or played wrongly.

Finally, the moment of Truth...Firstly, the judges were actually very entertaining to us audience. When their names were being called out, they did their signature moves; like bowing and create funny faces and even grabbing the microphone from the emcee and said "Aloha" to us. We were very excited and surprised with their actions. However...some excitements don't last forever. When the emcee announced every band's medals...the atmosphere was getting intense. And when the emcee said "Band Number 43: Coral Secondary School"...we held each others' hands and prayed hard...he said the B- word. We were in total Shock! hearing that word. We had dropped one medal down. Tears then fell from every eyes except for some (counted four to be exact). We regretted not doing our best for Mr Wong. All of us were. I don't really understand why the seniors don't understand why we cried. I mean okay...we sounded bad...but getting a Copper Gold (a replacement for the B-word) is sad enough to trigger our tear glands to secrete tears. Why can't they understand that?

After that, Illys, Khairiah, Rasyidah, Wardah, Nushrah, Izzah, Nadia & I went to a nearby (it was actually far away) food court, near SCH. We ate our food with guilt; which we should not have when we eat. But we couldn't help it. To work so hard just for this day...and disappointing us like that...has totally brought us down. Furthermore, we worry about Mr Wong as we've let him down.
