Flashbacks...Hey...I know I know people keep asking me "You don't update your blog anymore arh?" Well...I'm just lazy to type anything into my blog. Even though I'm always online every night and all, I just keep doing other stuffs instead of updating my blog; like watching videos on Youtube, chatting with people or doing researches about unneccessary stuffs. I'm kinda a Media Freak actually...'cause one proof for that is that I was the first to know, among all my friends, that Wentworth Miller (PrisonBreak) is Gay; and knowing that you can watch Narnia: Prince Caspian Trailer on Youtube already; knowing who is acting as The Joker for next year's Batman Movie called The Dark Knight...and more. Ouh ya...Vanessa Hudgens won't be acting for High School Musical 3. Disney does not want her to act in their next sequel due to the nude pictures of her over the Net. I can be a reporter for you guys about the whole world actually. Ouh...I also know secrets about the people in school, both teachers and students. But I won't tell those embarrassing secrets to you guys. I'm gonna start a segment called NewsFlash, where new events or stories I found out will be posted here. Hee. Anyway, see, I talk too much. That's why sometimes I hate updating blogs. I'll type so much stuffs...and in the end, No One will read it.
By the way, this post is supposed to be about Flashbacks. I may be doing this kind of post often as I'm always MIA on my blog. And I'm trying very hard to remember those days. So, here's the segment Flashbacks...
Flashback: 11.10.07 Graduation Day
It's our Last Official Day in School!!! Yup...We may choose not to come to school after this day, which is pretty cool. Anyway, our Graduation Ceremony was in the afternoon, straight after school. It was at the School Hall, in which I find the wall on the stage saying "Class of 2007 Graduation Ceremony" kinda nice. Most of us find that Singapore's Graduations in schools are pretty lame but we couldn't not go to the Ceremony 'cause we will receive our report books directly after the ceremony is over. Sigh. Anyway, Ms Ng was the MC for the ceremony, which was pretty weird to me. Each class had to give a dedication speech to the teachers who has taught us for the past four-five years in Coral Secondary School. Our class sent out Nicholas to give a speech, saying something about Alexander The Great's quotes and saying that these words cannot describe the experience or the teachings or something. I can't remember. 4/10 was the Best...they actually asked to give more than one minute to give the Speech 'cause two of their classmates were gonna sing to the teachers. Hehe...Aww, cute right? They sang Faith Hill's There You'll Be (the theme song for Pearl Harbour) and they gave a flower to Miss Florence Leong. It was a surprising sight, yet, it was very thoughtful and brave of them to sing on stage. Then, there was a segment where the teachers showed us a video clip containing lots of pcitures of us students since we were Secondary One. How cool is that? They could actually find pictures of us at that age. I looked the same still while most of us had a major makeover now. Sigh. After that, we were all given collar badges saying Class of 2007. The form teachers then had to pin the badges on our collars. However, Mdm Norul didn't come today, thus Mr Loo volunteered to pin the badges on our collars. He is already like a second Form Teacher. I could still remember him ordering McDonalds' for us for our Saturday Supplementary Class (a trick so that we will be present for his classes). Finally, it was the end of the Ceremony and they end it off by playing (what they called the Graduation Theme Song) High School Musical's Breaking Free. It was an unusual choice of song to end off the ceremony but we all stood up, some stood on chairs, and sang the song by looking at the lyrics on the big screen on stage. Ms Ng kept walking around to find people to sing the song with the microphone. Then, two students from a Sec Five Class, came out, took the microphone and sang duet. After all the fun was over, all of us ran to the back of the Hall to receive our Report Books. Some were happy, while others were unsatisfied as always. After receiving our Report Books, we could write something on the Helium-filled Balloons that will be given to the Form Teacher. Ouh ya...I forgot. We were fasting on that day...and the school provided food for us. But luckily, they did thought about the Muslims 'cause they prepared boxes of the food for us to bring home to eat. Hehe...Labels: Flashbacks
