Newsflash!!! - Protests Against Heath's Funeral???

Not too long after Heath Ledger's death was reported, the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) was said to have released a press statement announcing they have plans to protest the actor's funeral. Have they no shame?

The WBC refer to him as a pervert and say that he has begun serving his eternal sentence in Hell now. Are they serious? They think Heath deserves punishment because he starred in a love story about two men? Anyone that would think of such hateful things at a time when so many are in shock and grieving lacks human compassion and a normal sense of right and wrong.

"Sometimes I wonder if they worship the devil instead but then again the devil probably doesn't want to deal with them."
"Delusional idiot Phelps who runs that Church is more proof there is no such thing as God. He is also more proof that Religion is dangerous regardless if Christian fanatic or Muslim fanatic."
"This is not a church anymore than all Germans are racist anti-semites or Japanese are all killers. Even the Baptists do not affiliate with this hate group."

"I'm not a super religious person but I still believe anyone who preaches hate instead of love is serving someone other than God."

The small church runs numerous websites such as GodHatesFags.com, GodHatesAmerica.com and others expressing condemnation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people (LGBT), Roman Catholics, Muslims and Jews, as well as populations it believes are supporting the forementioned groups, including Swedes, Canadians, Irish, British, and Americans.

While its members identify themselves as Baptists, the church is an independent church not affiliated with any known Baptist conventions or associations, nor does any Baptist institution recognize the church as a Bible-believing fellowship. The church describes itself as following Primitive Baptist and Calvinist principles. Its first public service was held on the afternoon of Sunday, 27 November 1955.


Okay... Enough with all these rubbish ya? His funeral is expected to take place in secret in his hometown of Perth, Australia, next two weeks. Here are some Tributes for Heath Ledger's Death. (I don't know why I'm so obsessed with his death)
